WELCOME.
Most of my clients (but not all) are small to medium business operators. Some are in the professions, some have websites and some don't. The point is, none of them have the time or the desire to spend hours away from 'what they do'. That said, they quite rightly conclude that there are costs and risks inherent to farming out their face to the world to "someone in the office" or, at the other end of the scale, the same in commissioning an Ad Agency.

Which all makes perfect sense. Luckily, they found someone who (as one of my clients succinctly points out) is not chasing the Grand Empire. Indeed!

In fact I prefer to charge fairly, respect deadlines and apply elegance to generate sales. Isn't that the point?

Dear (whoever you are)

Call me. Because I know I can help you. Don't authorise another internal memo, a sales and marketing document, business proposal or campaign slogan before you speak to me. And please, don't write to your customers before we speak. Your copywriter has erudition, but not empathy.

Am I being horribly unfair? I'm sorry... you see, at the end of the day (and I'm thinking outside of the box), your communication strategy doesn't exemplify state-of-the-art clarity. Thus, sadly, it won't consistently yet flexibly move your "constituents" toward anything. Perhaps you think me naive, unworldly? Unable to identify with you? I do. Really. I just wonder whether these cryptic and labyrinthine missives actually deliver the outcomes you seek in an increasingly volatile business environment.
